The Law firm of Graham & Dunn is pleased to announce that Kumi Yamamoto Baruffi and K. Michael Fandel have been elected to the firm’s Board of Directors. Their terms began June 15, 2006.
The changes on the 2006 Board are a reflection of the firm’s commitment to cultivate the next generation of management. “Developing new leaders is important to our continued success,” says John T. John, President of Graham & Dunn. “Direct input from a new generation of shareholder attorneys will be invaluable as we shape the future of the firm.”
Stepping down from the Board this year are Douglas C. Berry, Stephen M. Klein, and Marcia K Fujimoto, who have served for twelve, eleven, and nine years, respectively.
Kumi Yamamoto Baruffi joined Graham & Dunn in 1995, and has over 11 years of experience in financial and general business transactions. Kumi’s experience includes private and public company mergers, stock and asset sales and purchases, “going-private” transactions and other corporate planning measures.
K. Michael Fandel has been with Graham & Dunn since 1992 and serves on the firm’s Hospitality, Beverage & Franchise Team. His practice focuses on complex commercial and business litigation, representing hotel companies, franchisors, liability insurers, and other companies and individuals.
