______________________________________________________________________Kumi serves on Graham & Dunn's board of directors and is a member of the Financial Services Team. She assists financial institutions with state and federal bank regulatory matters, corporate governance and strategic planning, including M&A and securities offerings as well as FDIC-assisted transactions and regulatory enforcement and interventions. Her experience also includes numerous new bank formations, holding company reorganizations and business combinations/reorganizations. She has spoken on corporate governance and M&A topics at local and national conferences and brings a multicultural perspective from having been born in Hong Kong and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
