Maren is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and a member of the Real Estate and Financial Services Teams. She advises owners, investors, lenders and tenants in commercial real estate transactions involving multi-family projects, industrial and office buildings and retail sites. She represents clients with respect to purchase and sale, leasing, real estate and asset secured financing transactions.

REPRESENTATIVE TRANSACTIONS

Representation of a full-service real estate investment firm engaged in the acquisition, management and sale of multi-family properties. Since 1997, we have assisted the companies formed by this investment firm with the acquisition, financing and sale of more than 30 properties ranging in value from $5 million to over $80 million.

Representation of pension fund advisors in the leasing of multiple industrial properties located in Seattle and the Kent Valley.

Representation of life insurance company in the leasing of various office projects in Bellevue.

Representation of property owner in the development, leasing and sale of various Seattle area office buildings.

Representation of owner in the development and leasing of a two-building office complex in Bellevue, including multi-floor lease agreements with national tenants and the negotiation of permanent financing.

Representation of a communications company in the negotiation and completion of a $250 million secured working capital loan facility.

Representation of lenders in construction and term loans involving office, retail and residential properties, with some including the issuance of bonds by municipal housing authorities.

Representation of the owner of restaurants in various ground lease and financing transactions.

Representation of the owners in the sale of multiple restaurants to franchisor.
