Brad focuses his practice on bankruptcy law, loan workouts, receiverships, and creditors' rights, and he advises on a wide variety of banking, regulatory, general business, and corporate issues.  In the bankruptcy context, Brad’s experience includes representing parties in chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 cases in jurisdictions across the country, representing plaintiffs and defendants in adversary proceedings, representing creditors committees, secured creditors, and unsecured creditors, and representing purchasers in acquisition transactions with insolvent entities.  Outside of bankruptcy, Brad’s experience includes a broad range of commercial and business litigation, loan restructuring, and loan documentation.

Brad is currently the co-chair of the firm’s Litigation Department and serves on the Local Bankruptcy Rules & Advisory Committee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Western District of Washington.  Prior to joining Graham & Dunn, Brad was in-house counsel for a major regional bank, after practicing in the creditors’ rights area at a mid-sized regional law firm.  Brad also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jim D. Pappas at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the District of Idaho.
