Shannon is a corporate transaction attorney with large law firm and in-house counsel experience in advising clients on general corporate matters pertaining to corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities laws, franchising and distribution, joint ventures and regulatory matters. Shannon has represented clients from formation and start-up to Fortune 500 companies in various industries including organic and natural foods and beverages, banks, financial services, publishing, biotechnology and medical devices.
Shannon also advises clients in various segments of the financial services industry on regulatory issues arising at both the state and federal level including, among other things, issues arising under the Federal Reserve Act, Bank Holding Company Act, Federal Deposit Insurance Act and Federal Credit Union Act.

Advised Fortune 500 beverage company in its $1 billion acquisition and post-acquisition restructuring of foreign competitor

Represented Haverhill Bank in its merger with Northeast Community Credit Union
Represented Lafayette Federal Savings bank in its merger into Mechanics Cooperative Bank
Represented Bridgewater Cooperative Bank in its merger into Mechanics Cooperative Bank.
Represented a local credit union in its state and federal application process to convert to a state-chartered cooperative bank.
