______________________________________________________________________Steve provides a broad array of services to banks and other financial institutions. He is experienced in defending lawsuits involving lender liability, deposit and investment accounts, securities fraud, creditors' rights, employment disputes, and trusts. He also assists clients with loan workouts and asset recovery actions and has represented numerous creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcies. In addition, he represents his clients in connection with state and federal regulatory investigations and advises clients on compliance and operational issues.
In addition to his financial services practice, Steve has a strong general commercial litigation background and has represented business clients in a wide variety of complex disputes, including disputes involving real estate, breach of contract, business torts, intellectual property, and class actions.
