Kathleen is a shareholder and practices in the area of Intellectual Property, including trademark, mechanical/electrical and electro-mechanical and design patent prosecution. She counsels clients regarding their intellectual property rights and strategizes with clients as to the protection and enforcement of those rights.  She also litigates intellectual property disputes, and provides clearing, registration, prosecution, opposition practice, portfolio management, opinion, due diligence, license, and settlement negotiations services.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Represented financial services provider in numerous trademark disputes before U.S. District Courts and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office - Trademark and Trial Appeals Board and in domain name arbitration proceedings ("UDRP").

Represented seed licenses in a patent infringement dispute.

Represented a perfume company in a trademark infringement dispute. 

Represented a boat lift manufacturer in a patent dispute.

Represented a renowned reggae band in a trademark dispute.

Represented a glass artist in a copyright dispute.

Represented online jewelry retailer in trademark dispute matter.

Prosecuted numerous utility and design patents on behalf of a pet products manufacturer.

Prosecuted a utility patent for an electrical products manufacturer through three "on final" rejections and filing an appeal brief.

Prosecuted numerous trademark registrations for clients in the retail, manufacturing, and software industries, as well as non-profit organizations.

Prosecuted a utility patent for a wireless security system OEM.

Represented a pest control service company in a UDRP and trademark dispute.
